trying to delete cookies/files/clear history

I am not that great at the technical stuff on cps. I had Internet Explorer and my pc crashed. Now I have Windows XP and Netscape. I can't download IE or messenger (it keeps saying something about a logo). I can't figure out how to get into the section to delete cookies and file and clear history; W/IE U just click on TOOLS and go to internet options. W/ this thing its in START but its all different and can't find the section with general/privacy and all that... Can anyone help? I'll give u my # if u can call and walk me thru it, or I can call u!!

downloaded firefox, can clear everything now, but still won't let messenger run, any suggestions?? Thanks u guys!!

 

Do you mean msn mesenger? Which version do you use... maybe it is damaged some how, try deinstalling it and reinstall the latest version. hope it helps...

 

ymessenger, i uninstalled and tried again, it just keeps saying "installation not successful. I have tried everything....

can you run internet explorer?
maybe another type of messenger (trillian,dmessenger...) would be nice to try. With spybot you could scan your pc and clean it with ccleaner...
