Yesterday, I have seen this movie about last days of Hitler's Germany.. Till a half of movie, it was ok.. but then, I had to cry.. and cry.. and cry.. It is the best and the most emotional movie I have ever seen about war.. So for everybody, who's interested in the WW II, go to a cinema to see it!
It is not on any cinema near me.. i would like to watch it..i am gonna have to wait till it is on DVD.
yeah... wait for it! It's not even a movie, you know.. Sometimes, I thought It's some war documentary, that I see real Hitler, Eva Braun, Himmler, Goebbels.. it's so fuckin' real!
That is why i want to watch it, a film from the german perspective, by germans .. for germans. Not another 'get those gerry bastards'
exactly! It was in german, with czech subtitles.. but sometimes, I didn't even have to read them.. coz I speak a bit german.. so it was still more emotional.. and that actor who plays Hitler.. he's unbelievable! He is like a real Führer! I just can't find those right words.. but.. yeah, this movie should get that Oscar!
Doppleganger, i am not sure the film will win any oscars unfortunatly the subject matter is a bit 'cotroversial' .. though you never know.
it's my favourite war movie too, and definitely one the most emotional and strongest movies of the last years. I saw in the cinema half a year ago. I will certainly buy it on dvd, a 2 disc dvd is already out but i want the 3 disc which will be released in december...
Unfortunately it didn't. Really fantastic movie, I saw it twice in the cinema. It's already for a long time released on DVD in the Netherlands though.
we were going to go see it for our high school social class, but the theater it was playing at didnt have any mattinees, so we didnt... i really wanted to see this ever since i saw the preview for it on apple trailers...i wonder if its still playing at that theater , hmmm
