ok..im in a net cafe as currently have no access to internet...or photoshop..hence why above there is a scarppy drawing produced on paint :) lol
but i will try and explain as i said i would.
the above pattern x2 will make a pair of trousers.
the top two straight lines need to the measurement of half the waist or a thrid of the waist. half the waist will make trousers that wrap around further ...i always use 1/3 of the waist measurement here as i personally think it looks better :S but its a case of tryin and seeing i guess.
the dip in the top of the pattern is the crotch line..gusset whatever. sounds funny but when making trousers for myself and others i ask them to put a measuring tape between their legs :p staring however far below the belly button (or above!) you like to wear your trousers and finshing at the approximate same height round the back. i then draw this as symmetrically on my pattern paper as possible using the curve of a tape measure lying on its side
the length down the side is the leg length.
allow extra for hemming...size adjustments etc
    ok now the sewing!
sound crazy but all you have to do is lie on piece of fabric directly on the other pice so that they match identically. then sew around the curve of the crotch line! thats it!! lol
then hem the remaingin seam and sew on ties to the sides (which will be the top right and left corner you can see on the pattern above) and voila! wrapround trousers....

now il leave you to work out how to wear them :p heheeee!

hope this makes sense to someone :S

    love luchi xxx
