Dear Mile69, First of all, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Diniza Dorant. And I want to suggest you to visit CURACAO!! Curaçao is a small island in the Caribbean sea, but it is great in beauty. It is a colony of The Netherlands. Curaçao offers extraordinary beaches, terrific dive locations (visit www.cdoa.org , Curacao Dive Operators Association's official website), an interesting culture and a great history. All you need is about $3000 and you'll be a KING/ QUEEN for a month!! the official change of the dollar is 1.75 guilders for 1 dollar. Don't need visa just need Reefs, shorts and nice shirts! For all the reasons I have mentioned above, I figured you could be interested in making Curaçao your new vacation destinations. Just in case you are interested I would recommend you to visit WWW.CURACAO.COM. This page will soon become the new official page of the Curaçao Tourism Board. Accomodation, Entertainment, Beaches and History are just some of the topics covered on this page and all of the information on this site is 100 % reliable. Hope you're interested, Diniza
owwwkay. After the utmost helpfull reaction of the previous poster I'll try to give some more info on Guinea First of all.. google 'till you can't google no more! You'll find interesting stuff like this: CIA World Factbook on Guinea and Lonely Planet info on Guinea and Latest news from the Guinea area and Which shots to get before you go/medical info After you read stuff like this, you might have some more specific questions? I think it's pretty safe to say that you should try and stay away from the border with Ivory Coast, Liberia and Sierra Leone, since there are still supposed to be clashes at the border. Since the area isn't the most stable in the world, it's recommended that you let your embassy know that you're going there.. assuming you're from the US, you can register here: https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/home.asp Anyway.. if you are still planning on going, please let me know your experiences since I'm very interested in the West-Africa area and I'm planning on visiting Sierra Leone in the future (the future that has money.. hehe.. I'm broke as hell now). All the best of luck, it'll be an awesome experience!
