I only hope that I ain't the only one on tha forums to know of this spectacularly awesome band. Waiting for Columbus is possibly one of the best live albums ever, and I'm pretty sure that the band has never, EVER, made a bad song. So, c'mon, peoples, talk it up.
I consider the loss of Lowell George every bit as tragic as the losses of Hendrix, Lennon, Zappa etc. He was a fabulous song writer. I forget who it was, but they got their name when someone was talking to Lowell and said ya know, your a big man, but you've got little feat - which apparently he truly did.
hey man I've seen Little Feat!!! Very cool, I'm very glad to see people our age enjoying this band these old guys can really kick some ass on stage! I saw them in Asheville, NC at the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam last year, and for an hour they rocked the house! Before all of that all I had ever heard from the was "Dixie Chicken" and they don't at all sound like that song but they do. Does that make sense? Anyway very cool!
