well this is my first post i got my dreads like 3 or 4 months ago i the top by the root is nice and tight but the bottem half is like loose and at the top all of my dreads have been geting small loops in them like all of them have them. and i was wondering if its normal to have all the roots to be mixed together on the back of my head but the roots on the side of my head are all seperate thanks

Completely normal. You probably lay against the back of your head more often or sleep on your back so they might rub together more. If you want to keep them seperate, you may want to rip them apart before they get too attached to one another...the ripping generally doesn't hurt too badly...

Yea seperate the back ones else you'll have one mega dread at the back... unless thats what you want :)

And the bottoms of dreads allways loosen up and then they can knott themselfs up again propperly.

I would not worry about it. They will work themselves out in time.

i think it hurts to rip them apart in the back. mine are alll like at the roots intertwined. I dont want a huge dread in the back! haha guess i'll have to endure the pain.
