I love him. He has some good tunes. My favorite is "Portabello Road". Incredibly catchy

 

I think my mom likes him.

I think he should be in jail for incitement to murder, but instead hes out there singing peace train with some ex boy band guy ....such is the world

I enjoyed his older tunes, but probably wouldn't purchase his new releases, if he even has any, I don't know.

Yes, I was a big fan of Cat Stevens in the early 70's. I used to have some of his albums on 8-track. My favorite was Budda and the Chocolate Box. I know that he changed his name to Yausif Islam (hope I spelled it right). And is doing work with charities and children. I heard that he was denied a passport into the US because they called him a suspected terrorist.

 

I used to listen to Cat Stevens all the time. Ever see Harold & Maude? Excellent soundtrack.

I haven't listened to him in awhile.

Well I am not saying that Salman should be killed because that is not my business to say who should be killed , but Salman should respect others religions , look at Cat stevens for example , when he conferted to islam he didn't curse his past religion or he didn't do as Salman did???

By the way, Willie, I don't know if you know that ( Yusuf = Joseph ) , Joseph the son of Jacob ( Jacob the prophet ) , and as I read in an article , Yusuf Islam when he still Steven , he read the holy Quraan ( Muslim's holy book ) and he read the story of Joseph and the story made him cry.
The holy Quraan includes 114 chapters, the chapter 12 named as (Yusuf)
Perhaps I'll put the story here someday
