What a crazy few days.. My husband got Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever from a tick. He is really bad off. It has severely affected all of his joints, esp his knees. He has been out of work for the past 5 days..and the meds he is on prevent him from being able to go out into the sun. Very sucky. So..needless to say, I have had hardly any time to sew. I did manage to make this dress, though. I used this amazing gauzy fabric my sweet mom got for me. It is layered..with a 'built in' apron. It has a corset style back. The dress is a bit big on me..

Cre, your creations are just beautiful. This dress is no exception. I love the tiny pleats on the bodice. It looks so soft and flowy. Just lovely! Someday when i have two dimes to rub together, i'm going to buy one of your things; not just so that i'll own a beautiful thing, but so that i can say "i have an old-school Cre thing" when you're famous! Haha. You'll be legendary, like the Blue Fish lady. Sending healing vibes to your husband... rickettsia rickettsii, be gone!

That is a beautiful dress, Cre! I hope your hubby is getting better. My dad was sick with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever once and almost died. Take good care of him! And, don't forget to take care of yourself.
