If it's a choice between that and jail...

To be honest, if it weren't for the war I'd think the service would be a big step up for alot of these kids.

Most of the guys I've known that went through it, even the ones who went through combat, seemed to be more together in alot of ways, like they had less to prove and were thus less violent and self destructive.

 

I've also seen statistics that say that a gentleman out of a specific branch of the military (name withheld) is more likely to be violent against women than a man not participating in that branch of military. So basically if you're in the military, you are more likely to be violent against women.

Now, don't anyone go and get their panties in a bunch...that's what the STATISTICS say...I'm not saying that all military men are abusive assholes. OK?

 

I joined before all this war bullshit started.

 

I have kids and it's phuckin scary. I worry about them all the time. I've seen some of the kids they go to school with and the way these children talk. I'm in shock half the time.

There are still a few of us who try to raise our children right from the start. I can't stand dead beat parents. They suck and they make the rest of us pay for it.
