Hi Guys I'm getting married next month and we have a guitar player and a guy with a violin scheduled to play. They are rockers, and we would like to have some good rock songs for during the ceremony. So far we have chose: White Wedding Don't STop Believing by Journey (For when we are exiting the church) Whole Lotta Love You Shook me All night long And possibly Purple Haze These guys played at my uncle's funeral and they played Stairway to Heave and Horse With No Name, and it was so awesome. Anyways, I would like any suggestions that you guys have for any good rock songs to be instrumentalized for our wedding Thanks!! Fizzyliftingdrink
my mom and dad had the song "when i'm 64" by the beatles played at their wedding..... i love that song, and i always think of them whenever i hear it....
Don't take this as it sounds, cause the track is COMPLETELY different to their usual stuff, but Promises by Megadeth would be appropiate. If you click the link I've added below it has the lyrics so you can see what I mean. http://www.lyricsfreak.com/m/megadeth/91466.html Oh and congratulations, hope it all goes well
I bet my fiance would love to have that Metallica song played. It would definately sound cool with a guitar and a violin! Thanks!!
I cant tell you what they should play, but I have can make some suggestions of ones they might want to avoid! Make sure they stay away from Ball&Chain, Whipping Post, Paint it Black, and the like. At rehearsals with our group we often joke about the wrong setlist for a wedding! on the good side, I might suggest scorps still loving you, they were the kings of the 80s rock ballads. best wishes, congrats to all on the wedding, love is a great thing!
