Ironic how the only responses to this on a Hippy site in the protest forum were negative. Well, peace to the folk in the pictures, keep it up man, good stuff.
Yaknow, you people really didn't HAVE to post in this thread if you were just going to be assholes. Anyways, that's pretty cool, peace to you and your fellow protesters.
It's nice to see people to protesting and not giving up. Don't worry about what the others said in this thread. I don't know what there purpose is
Support for the war is dropping everywhere, including the red states. As casualties mount and no end comes in sight, we can expect increased numbers of demonstrations and in people participating in them. This is just the beginning, so don't tell us they're wasting their time. More power to them.
The dust has now settled from the Global Day of Action surrounding the second anniversary of the illegal invasion of Iraq and, as promised, we now begin planning for the major antiwar protest in the City of New Orleans for the 2005 “Summer of Resistance”. There will be marches and a festival. *sigh* go on a blasted 'antiwar' march if you like just don't get all self rightous and drag this conflict into it..

I'm a felony defense lawyer, asshole. With me were other lawyers, a doctor, a preist, two school teachers, a geologist, a retired Marine, a retired sheriff's deputy, and a member of the Funky Meters. What do you do to make the world a better place, loser?
mmm trying not to drag this thread into any arguement, can i just add: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/vote_2005/frontpage/4491105.stm and slap it in a website as part of a validation to go on a march is self righteous (possibly the wrong word, but the best i could do). Go forth with a 'Anti war' march, why bring the iraq war into it . That is all i was saying.
