Cranberry Wilderness and botanical area info

It's been a couple years since I camped there, but the area is extremely beautiful. I understand they don't allow bicycles in some areas.

The botanical area looks like they have it pretty sewed up as far as rules and regs. I'm not quite sure how you have a Rainbow Gathering there... But who knows. Stranger things have happened. This is gettin' closer to home anyhow... As for gathering at an old quarry or strip mine or whatever the rumor is, the Kentucky gathering was held on an old coal mine location. It seemed pretty depressing at first, but by the 2nd of July, the whole place had transformed and no one really noticed the desolation much any more.

 

From all the messages I have read, this is terrible site, but just wait, and the Forest Service will regret they even tried to move us, we're coming by the thoousands, and I have seen it before, and again, there is no stopping the Family, never will they give up, never in a thousand years, through all the hardships, and bedlam, and the harrasment, and the tyrrany, and the blatant lies, and the trying to detroying of our young. No! Spread this everywhere. God, Bless the Family always, and protect them, keep them safe, and the children, Oh God! Many years have past, and some of us are dead, or sick, and ill, but the spirit goes on and on, for ever, the Light of the Family spreads, like wildfire. Yes, it certaintly does, God Bless the Rainbow Family of Living Light!
