So shroom, what movie was it that you needed another viewing to understand? (I'm giving your thread CPR )
i dont want to say cause i know some jackass will say something..but what the hell.. i watched life aquatic and one part at the end stumped me, who was the little freakin kid at the end...
I haven't seen it, but I do hate it when there is some obscure reference at the end of a movie, and you were supposed to pay close attention to some weird detail at the beginning or you won't get it....
Have you noticed that there is a wierd little troll jumping up and down in RT today looking for attention?
Why in the motherfuck did i read this whole thread? im pissed And, yes. i sometimes have to watch a movie twice to get it. like i just saw "The last samauri" and it was really hard to keep straigth who was battling who and why.
Oh yeah, a few times I even watched a movie like five times, just to see if I could figure it out, BUT NO DICE, and that movie was Lost Highway, I'll be damed if I'll ever understand that movie. Hey Kayla if you ever meet anyone how understood that movie let me know.
It's the new thing with movies. They mix up the beginning, middle and end to make it more interesting... what their really doing is trying to hide the fact that the content is none existent
, quote: and that movie was Lost Highway, I'll be damed if I'll ever understand that movie SAME HERE, and I love David Lynch...this one I had no idea about though. I'm not sure there is any sense to be made of it.
Has anyone seen Jacob's Ladder? It stars Tim Robbins. Now that was one confusing movie. It has 3 realities in it, and it jumps back and forth between them..... I had to watch it more than once to understand....
I think I understood that one. I thought it was similar to the short story "an occurance at Owl Creek bridge," where a man is being hung, but has this fantasy where the noose breaks and he escapes and swims back to his family....the entire dream took 2 seconds between when he was hung and he died. I could be wrong though...good movie
Yeah I love David Lynch as well, but DAM THAT MOVIE! If I ever figure it out, I'll let you know.....hahahah
