My mom saw a Doors concert once. She said the only reason she can remember it is cause of how bad it was (she saw a bunch of shows, CSN&Y, Jimi, a bunch of others, but she can't really remember them in detail cause her memoriy's slipping[well, that's what she says...]). She says that he had this huge bottle of Jack Daniels and was slurring, couldn't even remember the lines, and was pretty much just disgusting up there. Making a very, very bad show.

WOW, I just sat here and read this entire thread... I must say I'm not a Doors fan, I think they had some good stuff but they are not the best. The Doors did nothing after Jims death so that must have something to say about Jim morrison. It saddens me to see all these teens fighting about something that happened 20 years before they were even a sparkle in their parents eye's. And when did IQ make a difference on what sounds good and what doesn't? Guys here's the bottom line, all music is around for anyone with an open heart and an open mind. If you judge a band to another band then your stepping into a fight with a lot of fans. I really think you should try finding something more important in your lifes then bitching about music.
