I want to take some of my beads out because it seems that my dreads are outgrowing some of my beads!

My problem is...they are stuck! Any advice on how to get them out without cutting off part of my dread?

Take some hemp or any sort of sting and tightly wrap it around the dread, just under the bead…. sucking the dread together. (maybe it will work better after a shower)
See how that works… good luck

yeah if its that tight on there, i dunno hey.

Probably best if you just leave em there, unless you really want them out.

I guess I just want to give them the freedom to grow...and sometimes the beads get in the way of that...but I'll try that Buddha, thanks!

Yeah, some of my beads are getting swallowed by my dreads. I don't really mind it, at least they're not slipping off. I don't think that the beads are really inhibiting your dreads' growth.. hell, maybe it's like a bonsai tree and they'll grow around it and you'll have schweet gnarly dreads. :p

I have the opposite problem.. a few of my beads are always slipping off and when I have a shower and my hair gets wet a lot of the beads slip off.

the beads i have in my hair help keep the dreadies seperate because they just want to be one big dread but im not totally into that idea.... but i know what you mean, they do exactly what they wanna do, its like my dreadies have some kinda mind of their own, and its each and everyone of them. *sigh* my babies :)
