I think, you mean Paintshop Pro. It's really easy, onle choose new animation and use the wizzard for doing the first steps. You can even load a GIF-Animation and alter it. What is your special problem at the moment?

Just try it, you can nothing damage. Take some pics, you want to see shown one after one, like in a movie, start the animation shop, choose 'animation wizzard' and press 'continue' until the menue comes up, where you can choose, which pics the animation should contain. In this menue you can even change the order of the pics. After finishing the wizzard, you should something see on your monitor, like a piece of a movie-film, containig the single pics, you choosed before. In the top button-bar is a button 'RUN ANIMATION' and you will see, how your animation works. You can play around with the several parameters, edit the one ore other pic, choose the kind of animation, playing only once or repeated and some more and if it's all, like you want it, do at last a 'SAVE ANIMATION'. The blinkin lion in my sig contains only the to pics 'closed eye' and 'open eye', you can set the duration-time of showing each single pic, thus i made my lion 3 seconds close the eye and 1 second open the eye et voila, the illusion works.

If you are having problems finding your tool bars go to VIEW>TOOLBARS and make sure that TOOLS is shaded. Then go to VIEW>PALLETES and make sure that TOOL OPTIONS is shaded. If you open a new image and click the picture tube tool there should be a little picutre of a yellow ball just above it on the toolbar. Click the little arrow beside it and all your tubes should be there. This is also where you change your brushes if you are using the brush tool. You can also change the size of each by going to the right a little to where it says SCALE, increase or lower the number according to how big or small you want your tube or brush.

Here is a link to a wonderful site with tons of tutorials and links for tutorials and resources. I use it all the time.

I have PSP 8 and love it. The best way to get to know your program is to open a new image, fill it with a colour and mess round with all the different tools.

A link for some cool free plug-ins when you are ready:

...and a link site for tubes, brushes, masks and such:

    HAVE FUN! :D
