I just wnat to do a little bragging. I am susefully breastfeeding my baby. I come from a long line of non breastfeeders. Until myself. I have known no one who breastfed more than a cople of weeks. And until I moved to Missouri I never actually saw anyone breastfeed. In fact I did not breastfeed my first child for longer than a month. But because of the sopport of my husband, and expecally wonderful words of encouragement and stories from you gals (and some guys). So basicly I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for letting me know what a wonderful experance it is. Now I am experanceing it myself... once again thanks

YEAY!!!!! Im currently breastfeeding my 16 month old and my 3 year old... I believe in child led weaning (can ya tell ? LOL)

Anyways, you SHOULD be proud, breastfeeding IMO, is the very best thing you can do for your child. Call me a crazy lactivist! ;)

And ~~ I am proud of you, you are giving your baby antibodies for life that formula couldn't.

I highly recommend finding a La Leche Leauge in your area...its great to meet up with the woman and meet new friends and most of all you will get great support....

SO HOORAY!!!! You ROCK! Good for you mama!!!!

You are rightly proud of yourself! Not only have you broken the mold and are giving your baby a healthy start, you are setting a good example! Your children are more likely to be breastfed because you have done it, and you will be able to provide support and advice as a knowledgable wise woman.
