Weird dream involving my girlfriend and a bunch of talking animals

OK, this dream was slightly weird and I could do with a hand figuring it out.

Lil bit of background, I live in England, my girlfriend lives in Canada. We've known each other as friends for nearly 6 years and ended up getting together when she was here for a vacation in march, I'm planning on going out to see her at the end of august.

Anyways, the dream itself.

We were both walking up a steep hillside with a pure, clean, fast flowing steam with rocks in it flowing down hill to our left as we walked up. My girlfriend was carrying a HUGE pile of stuff in her arms. behind us was an equally huge group of animals of all different kinds. I remember there being ducks, but they didnt acutally do anything, the one that had the most part of a dream was a goat that had the ability to talk. It kept telling my girlfriend to 'throw away the things you dont need'. Every time it said this, she would reach into the huge pile of stuff, pull out an object and throw it on the ground as she walked on. Each object was something of mine, but each was something small (the 2 that I remember were a tub of the wax I used for keeping my mohawk spiked up before I had to shave it off, and one of the plectrums I use for playing my guitar). I'd pick each object up and run up to her and ask her why she threw it away and she'd say it didn't matter.

So yea, thats my dream and I'm a bit confused, anyone got any oppinions on a possible meaning?

 

thats got to be one of the most intersting dreams iv heard of in a while, maybe it means your afread she will forget about you?or someone else will come along and she wont be intersed in you,this sounds like it could make sence becasue you live so far apart.

 

The pick, the mohawk wax etc, are symbols of the way you define your Self. You may feel that since you have changed, you've kind of betrayed your self or your image of who you are. However, your girlfriend and the goat are reminding you that Self Image is an illusion, and you are You without this stuff. The reason you're annoyed is because the change is out of your hands. Did walking up the hill seem important in the dream? Because it could be a symbol of your learning curve.

That's my opinion anyway...

 

yea we we going up the hill to get somewhere, but I cant remember where....

the stream seemed really important as wel, despite playing no other part except just flowing downhill past us
