Does anyone know what is bad, okay, and good for scores on the new SAT? And what's up with the essay score?

I just got my scores and don't really know what to think of them. (1900 with critical reading, writing, and math added together).

I just checked my SAT scores and all of those counted together I got 1490. Is that good or bad?

With the old SAT's a perfect score was 1600- Each portion 800 points. The new version just added another 800 points for a total of 2400 possible points. I would say that based on this, a score of 1900 is good but with a 1490 you may want to retake the test. For more advice on your score, talk to your high school guidance counselor. Good luck guys.

Also, college is a lot of fun so hang in there, high school flys by quickly.

    Peace,

How do I convert my old SAT scores to compare them to new SAT scores? Is it just simple fractions I could cross multiply? I'm assuming it is, but most of the standardized tests are weighted a bit strangely.

What did Bush and Gore each score on the SAT? I'd ask what Slutter McGee got too, but I'm thinking that might be a bit rude. I'm far too competitive when it comes to academics.....
