I've been told that if a place has you take a drug test that means that they want to hire you. what are the odds of them having you take the drug test if they are just considering it, like if they still have a bunch of people to pick from?
When I worked at a guitar shop for like.. 3 months, I never took a drug test and it wasn't private or under the table or anything. I wish I still worked there but because of my mom's schedule, I could never get there on time so I had to quit.
company's have to pay for the drug tests they have you go on.....so most places wont bother to waste the money unless they want to hire you. But I have been on one interview where as soon as the lady was done interviewing me she said "would you consent to a drug test?" I said sure thinking it wouldnt be for atleast a week, and then the lady broke out a swab test right there and tested me. Needless to say, I didnt get that job.
