To those of you that know what it is, have you ever done one? To those that don't, EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena. They are, simply put, unexplained voices that are captured on audio tape or digital recorders and were not heard by humans present at the time it was recorded... I have done one once, in a friends house because they had a problem with their lights that kept turning off when they left the room and you could allmost feel something following you around, the dog would sometimes just start barking when no one was around, and sometimes you could hear the doorbell but no one was there and the dog wasn't even barking or any thing... So we did an EVP in their hallway (it's a pretty old house), and you could actually hear footsteps and a slight talking/moaning thing... They refused to go to sleep again in the house so we called a 'ghost buster' (well just a clairvoyant, but ghost buster sounds so much cooler ) and she said that they were rooted deep in the house because of some event, but as far as we know, no one have ever died an unnatural death in the house... She got them out tho and now they live in that house again, but you still get a weird feeling on entry
I've never tried this, but my brother did. He and a friend took a tape recorder into a cemetary one night. They chose graves at random and placed the recorder on the grave, turned it on and stood quietly for a few minutes and then moved on to the next site. When they played the tape back we heard some very strange things: a quiet voice saying what sounded like, "I want to go home", another one saying, " I'll make you pay", a faint train whistle (no trains or tracks anywhere near the area), what sounded like growls and moans, and some other voices. It was very creepy, but interesting too.
I belive in Ghosts but in a different way I think ghosts are actully people who have not be granted reincarnation and try to live on normal lives. I think people can actully see them when in a certain state of mind such as when meditating and just come out of it. When in that state of mind our eyes work on different frequencys and not working at 100% only would only be at about 40% and would be able to see the lines of the frequencys. I'm not sure if i belive in Evp though, i spose it could happen but i dont know about groaning sounds and stuff like that. peace and love
What's not to believe, many have tried it, and it works... If you don't believe tho, then try it yourself... But it has to somewhere there is a chance you might hear one... I didn't believe in it before we tried that shit either I would at som point really really try to record one in a zyklon-b gas chamber
