Fear and loathing

    i just recently read fear and loathing in las vegas by hunter s. thompson
    i read it in about two days ( i couldn't put it down )
    i definitely would suggest this book to everyone to read (and don't just go see the movie)
    if any one else has read anything by hunter s. thompson would you reccomend it

    i really liked the rum diaries, its sort of more cohesive than some of his other writings, its a good story though...good way to look at life...

    but all of his stuff is brilliant i think
    better than sex is good too

    The Great Shark Hunt is a great read. Look for The Gonzo Papers. It is a four-volume compilation of assorted writings from HST at his best.

    If you are into politics (as in you would like to read about the inner workings of a presedential race), read Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail in 1972. It chronicles the '72 election between Richard Nixon and George McGovern. It is definitely for the political junkie, though.
