Is there any type of preg test in particular that spicificly tests a woman at her aerly stages? i had sex with my girldfriend just a day ago and 3 days ago without a condom for my first time now im scared. what kind of test will i need?
There are HPTs (home pregnancy tests) that can detect the hcg pregnancy hormone a week before your period is actually due. At this early stage because you just had unprotected sex only 3 days ago, you won't get an accurate result. Blood tests done at the lab or doctor's office can give accurate pregnancy results even sooner than the standard urine tests, but still, it's much too early for you to know at this point. When was your gf's last period? This will have an impact on things as well, because she may, or may not have been ovulating. If she wasn't, then of course you're in the clear. In response to your question, EPT first response can dectect the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days BEFORE her period. It's about 15- 20 bucks results come up in 1-5 minutes. Next time, don't be stupid. If something happens like a condom breaking, there IS the morning after pill. I don't know why you didn't look into that when someone suggested it in your first "poor me my g/f might be pregnant" thread. Now it's too late.
Well then she shouldn't have been ovulating. Ovulation usually occurs 14 days after the first day of a menstrual period. Still, nothing is every 100% guaranteed.
