Men reach their sexual peak in their mid-to-late-20s. Women, by comparison, reach their sexual peak in their mid-to-late 30s. So I fail to understand why so many older men seek younger women. Having said that, it's not unusual for there to be a maximum age gap of plus-or-minus 10 years between you and your partner. In fact, it's rather consistent, regardless of your own age. Beyond 10 years, you've got more than just an age gap; you've also got a culture gap. -- Skeeter
I think older guys think they can tap the fountain of youth by being with a younger woman, plus they may be more sexually compatible, based on your logic, but I gotta agree about the cultural gap thing. Plus younger women seem more physically attractive, but that's superficial. I've got a friend who's in his early 40's, and he's always pursuing women in their mid-20's, but he doesn't get very far. We're kinda concerned about him, we think he's got some kind of disorder. I'll stick with my 42-year-old mate (she's a year older than me), thank you.
Generally, I'd say between 20 and 35...although I've met some very nice, great 19 year olds...I just...think we are on a different level...same with men over 35...I've met some nice ones, but we are at different stages of our lives...it couldn't work, right now. But generally I try to stay under 30-ish so my family doesn't flip out too much LOL
I prefer to date within my age range but I would date a man up to 40. I doubt anyone older than that could relate to me. If he could, he's a pretty immature 40 year old!
