I've been trying to make an effort to share my work with others lately. It's hard to keep up with forums sometimes This is a new one with a big spinel, a 5 ring tourmaline slice, a peridot and a big aquamarine. Comments welcome and appreciated. Peace, Isaac
I must say i'm allways impressed. Being the daughter of a silversmith its allways good to see silver jewelry being made thats interesting and new. I'know the basics of making silver rings and soldering but thats about it.... i should really learn more.
Hey Isaac... You definately set a high standard in wire wrapping! I noticed your not so complex designs sell just as well for you. I was just curious if your extensive vs less extensive wire wraps sell better? I just learned the herringbone wrap with beads... yeah... I know... how preschool....lol. I'm going to share your site with a popular polymer clay group. Some of the people there do wire wrap. I want to share your work to blow their socks off. If anyone wants to see what's going on in the polymer clay world... check out the message board at www.polymerclaycentral.com Have fun in Europe! They would love you work over there as well! Europe is more about art than the United States in my opinion. Matthew
I think there are only 2 reasons the small pieces sell faster. The first is that they are more affordable, the second is that some people (usually the ladies) like smaller pieces. Generally though, if people have the money, the will opt for something nice and intricate. Out of the 50-60 pieces I have made and sold, the majority by far of those have been complex 8 or so hour projects. thanks everyone for the compliments
