As several of you know... I work with polymer clay and wire wrapping. I also do fused glass. I made the bead myself and did the wire wrapping in sterling silver. How much would something like this go for? Don't forget I made every aspect of this item.

It's 1.25 inches long. This is my first one of this type... I've have made a few more using different colors and shapes of beads. I plan on making more tonight. This one and a few more are on my ebay auctions... very cheap... with necklace. Link is on my site to see my latest ebay auctions.

I would say to put a price on your time (say so many dollars per hour), the cost of materials and then add like a 20% mark-up.

what i do is. minumu wage is what? form the last i heard it was 5 or 6 something an hour. ok, how many hours did you work on the peace? if you worked 5 hours than you would charge at lest 25 + the cost of matrals. and sometimes you can add in the skill level, not many poeple know how to do clay and wire wrapping (or care to learn) so you could add anouther 5$ on too that. sometimes it helps explaning to people how you got the price you charge. i have found thay can be a little more understanding on how and why a peice is the price it is. don't let them rip you off and pay less then what it is worth.

    love and peace apple seed

Hey Appleseed... Some peoples time is worth more to them. I've heard of people paying themself $20 an hour. Your right though... it comes down to preseved value. Some people do and some people don't appricate handmade stuff.

Crayon... thanks for bustin my balls. I haven't had that in awhile. IT's now double price for ya. I've toned it down a bit... you have to admit that...
