damn dad

whenever my mom's not around he yells like hell at me, and he always accuses my little cousin (hes TWELVE FOR GODS SAKE) of doing the worst things, tonight i asked my cousin to get me a glass of water (the cups are right under all the medicine) and he was gettting a glass and my dad walks in and says "what are you doing" and he says "looking for a cup" and my dad says "i know what you were doing" and he moved all the pill bottles. WHAT THE HELL? he also accused both of us of pestering everyone until they give in to take us places (there was literally no food and my brother OFFERED to take us to jack int he box) and he like forced me to call a number on my cell phone. im so telling my mom.. and im taking my cousin for a walk through the neighborhood so he wont have to be around my dad

 

sometimes people are really cruel, try not to let it get to you, and speak to your mum about it and it's really sweet you've taken your cousin away from it, very honourable :sunglasse

the latest update (my cousin is off to california on a plane right now, hes moving) my dad yelled at my cousin and said do you know the meaning of the word no?!??! because we were playin around and wrestling and while i was laughing i yelled no! cause he was gonna tickle me.. my mom has an excercise ball and my cousin was bouncing on it and i tried to get him off (still messing around) and my dad asked if we should set the timer.
he also made my cousin show him his clothes he was going to wear for the day (??) and he told us that none of our cars had gas so dont even start planning to go anywhere (as if we paint the town red nightly) we were laughing in my room and my cousin hit his head and it made a sound and my dad was like 'DOGGONIT YOU KIDS (he was pissed)' i was like HE JUST HIT HIS HEAD HE WAS LAUGHING. my dad shut up. he held out his hands between us and told my cousin to go into the bathroom and me to go into my room.. whatever he also accused me of losing our turtle and gave me a talk about leaving the back door open, he made me go look for it for a good ten minutes all around the house and all around outside (108 outside) and it was under the table the whole time he came out in his underwear one night and accused us of turning all the lights off and made us turn them all back on (ok so we were gonna play hide and seek but he doesnt have to get all pissed that his precious lights are off, god forbid i try and lower light pollution) after he went back to bed i turned them all of again just to spite him he said i killed our flowers my climbing out my window at night (flowers= weeds)aaagh my sis even agrees with me how she doesnt know what his deal is.. my aunt is gonna call him from california and talk about him, she said shes furious with the way hes acting, my dad thinks that we (my cousin and i) are constantly like making out behind closed doors and that we're secretly in love with each other, and my aunt says that he needs to get it through his head that we're like brother and sister and at our age we're gonna play and wrestle and stuff, and she said she wants to bitch slap him. whew thanks for readin all that

 

judging by your aunt's reaction, maybe your dad feels uncomfortable about all the time you and your cousin spend together, like it sugests incest or something.

My dads an asshole too, I got busted smokin pot and he wanted to know who I got it from, and I told him I wouldnt tell him and he grabbed a wooden log that was intended for the fireplace but hit me over the head with it and started kickin my ass, and I STILL DIDNT TELL! lol Im glad I got that shit out.

Have you thought about trying to talk to your dad privately. Maybe if you approach him in a non-blaming way he'll listen. To say, "Dad, I feel bad about being reprimanded all of the time; I'm doing my best to be a good person."might help. .

 

When I still lived with my parents, my father was like that too. He was always a total asshole to me, when my mother wasn't around and of course, when I tried talking with my mother about the situation he would accuse me of lying and whatever else.. Ahh well. My father is an immature, selfish bastard. I'm better off without having him in my life.
