    i use RIT its pretty sweet just go to ritedye.com and they have tie dye tips but always remember to use the thing that keeps the color in or else it will fade out, i dont use the stuff that keeps the color in tho. when the color fades out then u just have another reason to buy more dye and TIE DYE!

    BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    rit is shit.
    Let's troubleshoot:
    What's happening,what is your dye, what is your fiber, and what is your cure time?
    pale:
    using a poly blend?
    using rit?
    inadequate cure (at least 12 hours)
    gloppy:
    un-even-handedness in application
    bad mix with powdered dye
    used activator in the dye and dye is older than 16 hours.
    Murky:
    bad color placement, esp yellow next to black or dark green.
    No white area:
    banding/sinew too loose

    Others? post and I'll see if I can help. I've made most mistakes. Including Rit.
