I have anaphyaxis from shellfish. I can eat "bony fish" with no problem. but some salmon is colored with shrimp shells, so I have to only get organic, non dyed salmon. I avoid shellfish. Basically, anything with a shell, shrimp, lobster, clams, oysters, scallops, crawfish, crab, mussels ect. I have to get an epinephrine shot and take Benadryl if I accidently eat shellfish. We sometimes go to Benihana, and they cook shrimp and lobster and scallops on the hibachi, and I have to have my food cooked in the kitchen, in a separate pan. I get sick from the residue.
i guess i cant eat sushi but thats fine with me i dont like it anyway. but the one time i tried it my top lip swelled up so huge i looked like a duck! and it was only my top lip...weird hu
