I was thinkin bout chaos vs order and how people think the universe is either in complete order or complete chaos... but to me everything will always be in order whether we can understand the patterns and tendencancies or not. But Chaos is still valid imo... chaos doesnt neccessarily have to mean complete dissaray and everything falling apart... chaos could just be an order or pattern way beyond human comprehension... Like to a 1st grader regular arithmetic seems like order, but if u show him algebra problems he'd call it chaos... So everythings always in order even though it appears otherwise? And wut we think is the opposite of order (chaos) is just another form of it?
if chaos and order were in balance, wouldn't that be some sort of order? chaos is just the unpredictable element in peoples lives that could happen any day
my logic goes like this... The universe is in Chaos, in the sense that order is only present when human minds can grasp how things go about. But the human mind is finite in it's ability to grasp Yes we can always "learn" more But the the horizon never gets any closer There will always be gaps in man's explination of order so chaos, in the sense that it's an order beyond the mind's net, will always reign supreme
chaos is orderd though... chaos is never ending... i think we are talking about different things here people
But everything is ordered, just may appear to be chaos being beyond our comprehension of order or something of the like, but then there is always that which is beyond, thus chaos. But then again it could all just be chaos, and the only order there is is the apparent order we percieve which in reality is merely massive coincidences with no real order, but knowing nothing different we percieve an order to it.. Or we have forced it into our order.. Oh hell, who knows? I say it's both order and chaos while simultaenously being neither and just one or the other. Basically what is is, and what isn't is, and neither are though they both are and every possibility is and simultaenously isn't because tall there is is is, the infinite, which you can go on and say both the inverse of infinite, and nothingness, etc.. Cause it's just everything. Fucking hell, I'm not even talking about chaos or order anymore cause none of them exist, because nothing exists, and that is exactly why everything exists if you get what I mean.
well, there is order within chaos and chaos within order. It's a random universe rolling along on laws, so I would say you can't decide whether the universe is chaos or order or whether any of those labels exist. It's like saying "Do you think the universe is nice or nasty?" It doesn't work as a question.
Thanks Michael ... I posted something about the 'god particle' http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64879&highlight=particle
yeh i realized me and micheal are on 2 different pages, i get wut ur saying though. i just have a different approach to the definition of chaos...
the god particle is just as much wishwash as chaos magic imo. they're both pure theory... it's one crack pot's rational vs anothers... I'm pretty sure that once u go sub atomic u get too abstract for any practical purposes. Mich i like ur analogy for the force that holds together and rips apart. I think of the same thing but replace order with electromagnetism, and chaos with nuclear reaction
