Ecaustic Art!!

Heya all

Jaycee bought me an encaustic art kit for my birthday. That wax artdone with an iron onto papper.

heres what we come up with... anyone else do this??

that was one of jaycees ones experimenting with different techniques.

I really like them. They're so striking - good work!

 

My favorite is the one with the unicorn in it!!!! It looks so enchanted!

 

Wax and ironing? how de heck does that work? those are amazing by the way


The first one looks like a desert with really cool lookin sand erosion... i think wut looks like individual eyes, and maybe a pair of lips?

The one second looks like colly flower gardens on antartica

 

wow...thoughs are absolutly stunning! i thought that was done on a computer first, but its 10x better then that

 

Its done by holding the iron up side down and melting the wax onto it the turning it right way up and smothing it softly onto the paper its great fun

 

Those are fucking insane. That is some of the best art I have seen. I gotta get one of those from you...

we are thinking of doing a load and sticking them onto greetings cards and selling them. we are going to test them at a car boot on sunday

 

OH oH I wanna see you do this, looks like tuns of fun! You'll have to show me sometime fleassy it looks awesome!
