I need to vent on how I believe that TV and the constant sexual content therin is ruining western society. I am so tired of every show you watch has either the main subject or undertones relating to sex. Does anyone out there have a life at all that doesn't include 99% of there time thinking about sex. The people on TV shows don't seem to be able to. TV also is to blame for a lot of the kidnapping,murders, and violent crime. If they wern't constantly blabbing about and making crimes seem like new made for TV movies it wouldn't drive all the other wackos over the edge to commit these crimes themselves. Sure theres always the crazy thats going to do these things, but making such a big deal out of them, I believe promotes others to do the same , in there mind to become famous. Responsible reporting is one thing, playing the same crime over and over and then making a movie and book out of it should be illegal. In this day and age crime does pay!!!

I very seldom watch tv anymore. The people at the 4 major networks seem to think that we are all just as stupid as they are. Let's face it most of their shows are by idiots and for idiots.

 

I only watch about two or three hours of tv a day, at most, and that's usually cartoons.

 

Haha, I'm with Monkey. I barely ever watch TV, and when I do it's either cartoons or comedy central.

I read somewhere that the average male thinks about sex every ten seconds. Although that's probably a made up statistic it illustrates my point: people think about sex non-stop, it's just an animal thing.
How is sex destroying our society? it's only reproduction people.
You'll never be able to put sex on television more rapidly and more perverted than what occurs in my head anyways...

OOOOOOK! Record this in history folks! That post actually coming from a hipforums member. Where most of these underage teens are sexually active, smoke pot and do major drugs and consider it a healthy and active lifestyle.

 

I agree with that about tv promoting these things...
here in Spain 2 years ago or so tv started to speak about men who beat their wifes or their children, ok, we all know that this kind of things happens.. since then, they speak more often about it, i remember last christmas it was like,... one woman left each day for 6 days or so... and i think all this is because the TV speaks too much about the subject and some people want to get attention... they sometimes say that that way women complain and report their husband and they didn´t do that before.. maybe that´s true, but at the same time i think they are promoting this kind of violence...

Actaully, most of the potheads on here realize that it isn't exactly the healthiest way to live your life, we just don't give a shit.

Sports are boring to watch. It's mroe fun to go outside and play a game of football with your friends than to sit on your ass infront of a little box and watch other people who are getting paid to play it.
