And yes Jesus is mentioned in the OT lots of times infact about 300+ times (it is called the messianic prophecies) But His name is not mentioned ONCE.

 

I believe we are a chaotic mixture of elements, gathered together for no particular purpose. We evolved and will evolve. The bible and what it states (within it) are truisms. One of the first written understandings of the world around us. Clearly flawed as much as it might be accurate. Will the 'world' end in any kind of biblical extravaganza ?, no because it is too naive to believe that any one person or persons could forsee this. Like the link i posted says the 'story' was based on a real fact and the way it was explained was fantastical/epic and obviously like all storys needed a big ending.To give it some credance and so that people listened to the many other messages within the scriptures, a lot of 'average' peoples fears hopes and dreams (and understandings) at the time were played upon, hell maybe even exploited (that does not mean that jesus new any better than the 'average' person, just thought about it a bit more) . When you strip the thing down imho it all falls apart (i believe).

Names that describe Him, but please give me chapter and verse in the O.T. which spell out the name Jesus Christ.

 

The Bible states that when Christ returns every eye will see Him, and even those who killed Him. Everyone will live forever, the real question is, where will most people live after their life on earth? The Bible states there are only two destinations.

 

The prophecies of the Bible are not imaginary, but only apper that way to those who ignore the Bible. The Jews are not back in Israel by accident. And Jerusalems East gate does not remain sealed because no one bothered to open it. The Bible clearly states, that the generation that sees Israel become a nation will not pass away, until all of the end time prophecies will be fulfilled.

 

First people thought the body would rise again , then the little fact of decay came into the situation.. so then the soul traveled onto the next world.. Very conveniant that.. you can't see it feel it and the possibilities of it are endless.

id like to know where al this anti-russia stuff is coming from.whats so great about the land of the free?all political leaders are evil at worst,or ill-informed at best.bush exceptionally so.some people are still trying to live in cold war days,and its time they moved along,and strive for peace and understanding between different nations,cultures and religions,instead of trying to stir the shit,which is so un-christian.

On April 24, 1969 I got caught on a 7,400 volt eletrical line. While I was on the ground I noticed that I could still see things with my physical eyes, but I also noticed that I could see things from what I can only explain to you as spiritual eyes as well. It was as if I had two bodies. Seeing to different physical objects from two totally differentent perspectives. I do believe it was as close as a man comes to a seperation from an earthly body and from what the Bible describes as the soul. Vardo, you really need to read your Bible. You can learn more about the coming attack on Israel from Russia by reading Ezk. chapters 36,37,38, and 39. And just to let you know, there is no way anyone will be able to stop Russia from doing this. When this happens, only God will be able to stop them, and He will.

I became a Christian at the age of eleven years old. Jesus is no mystery to me. He's like a close friend. He told me my wife was going to have my son before even my wife knew. She found out 4 hrs. latter. The more you open up to Christ, the more He reveals Himself to you. He is truly alive.

 

I realy don't think i could ever put a element of doubt into your mind about the validity of the bible and what it says, you seem to be well versed of on the bibles teachings and for me to try and knock your beliefs past a certain point..would be rude. The only other thing that you have not commented on is within post No.230.. This element has yet to be explained ? (not that this is any kind of spanish inquisition, feel free to pass on it).

 

Not often have I read articles like this, yet as far as the Temple is concerned questions always abound. Yet, according to scripture, Jerusalems East Gate would have a porch added to it, and that porch Gate would be sealed, and no one but Jesus Christ will be allowed to enter that Gate. Jerusalems East Gate has remained sealed for hundreds of years. Two attempts by Moslems to brake through the Gate to destroy the prophecy have failed. Just as the Bible said they would. And in recent days they have discovered the foundation of the Porch Gate is the fully intact Old East Gate which was buried perhaps a thousand years ago. The Porch Gate leads to the orginal Temple, and it is at the same site where Jews have always believed the Temple to be.

The return of the Christ is the Return of the Jedi. The Sith are on top right now. Sith or Illuminati..... whatever you wanna call them, they have powers all the legends say so, they learned the Egyptian knowledge, by stealing most of it. Well most likely in whatever Country you live your own people are going to imprison or shoot you, but if everyone is taken away from action, there becomes no war with no army to fight because they killed each other for not backing up the country. As the sheep are decimated the wolves now have to stray out into the open for pray. Right now we are inside a crate, waiting for our time to step up and be eaten. So stay inside your crate and wait with a pistol grip pump to be thrown into hell and die how they want you to. Or step out of the crate and see what the fuck happens. It only works if every individual does it.

Russia has no reason to attack the US, there is no conflict involving both nations that would be serious enough. Russia also has its hands full with radical Islamic terrorism. The real threats to the US are terrorism and China's growing economic influence. The major damage is likely to be economic, which means Americans will just have to live more humbly and with less arrogance. The US is not likely to get involved in a nuclear war over Taiwan, although I suppose it's possible. Either way, Russia isn't going to be a threat. Bible prophesy interpreters of the 80's were convinced Russia would attack the US, and those prophesies never came true.

Keep in mind, following prophetic timetables could be considered idolatry. A following of symbols and signs that deprives people of their freedom to change the course of history by changing the story they believe in. If you want an "end times", go ahead and believe you can't make a peaceful world by changing your behavior. If you want hell, create one. Or, if you choose, forgive others, forgive yourself, and work on making a world kids can stand to live in without cursing their parents for leaving them an impossible mess.
