Electric Ladyland I guess... it's hard for me to choose between any of the Experience albums.

For me, it's a wild toss-up between Axis: Bold as Love and Electric Ladyland. I agree with Laety though in saying that all three of the Experience albums are amazing.

For me it has to be ElectricLadyLand, for the reason that at this time Jimi had done just about all he could do with a trio. On ELL he has some of the best collaborators in the music biz, its an awesome assortment of sounds and songs that never get boring. But any Hendrix album is a great album so this question is like a catch 22. :)

"Axis: Bold As Love" definitely! with "Electric Ladyland" a very close second.

I will have to go with Axis on this one........

so many great tunes! and it seems to flow so well.

electric ladyland kinda bores for a bit.

I rented the "Axis: Bold as Love" album a couple of days ago, and I think it's an amazing album. So that might be my favorite Hendrix album.

Jimi Hendrix is probably the greatest guitarist of all time ( not that you guys need me to tell you that) and i think my alltime fav hendrix album has got to be...either electricladyland...or axis:bold as love! his first three albums were his greatest to be honest so its a toss up between those three ( ie: are you experienced?,electricladyland and axis:bold as love)

But Axis: Bold As Love is my favorite. It's been the soundtrack to many a trip.

As far as the original albums go, I like Electric Ladyland. For his posthumus releases, I love "Jimi Plays Monterey" and "Live at Winterland". Those are two incredible (and inspired) live albums.
