    i'm looking for some books that darwin wrote. i was wondering what would be good for a beginner getting into darwinism to read. if u could reccomend some i'd appreciate it.

    There is a really neat book that's not directly about Darwin that was written by a captain of a yacht that traced the route that the Beagle took. I'll try to find it, I can't remember the title. It's not expressly about Darwin, and more about the journey that this crew took in the 70s or 80s, but there is a bit of history in it, and some of Darwin's discoveries.

    History of Evolution is his most famous book, I believe, and I've read parts of it (I'm a geology student, and used some excerpts for a project) but it's a bit "elevated" if I recall correctly.
