Today a friend and I were walking through the woods near my house and saw that the blueberries were beginnig to ripen (thus our usual 15 minute walk took well over an hour since we kept stopping to grab a few berries to munch on.) Haha... this brought back some great (and rather humorus) memories. When I was little the wild blueberries from the woods were the only blueberries I had ever had. Once, when I was 5 or so, my mom got some blueberries at the market since she knew how much I loved blueberries, and it was off-season at the time. When she tried to get me to try some I kept telling her that they wern't blueberries... they were too big and too grey-ish. I finally tried one. I spit it out... it didn't taste like a blueberry... it was watery, mushy, and tasteless. Haha... I guess no genitic modifican can ever be as good as mother nature. Seriously though, if you ever get the chance, try some qwild blueberries, fresh off the plant... they're awesome! ^^
i've had wild blueberries before. when i went to summer camp up in New Hampshire, we went on hikes and stuff. and the blueberries there were great. cocunut off the tree is great too. and so many other things are great fresh.
Mmm blueberries. I tried them fresh for the first time only recently, and they were delicious. I went berry picking just last week for ollaliberries.
We got a bunch of blueberry trees up in this mother fucka. when im riding my bike past them, i am forced to ride directly throunh the pile of falllen berries on the greound. when you go past, you can hear the strong buzzing of THOUSANDS of flying bugs as they munch on them. maybe those are raspberries, idk
