Do you buckle up EVERY time?

more people get saved by wearing a seatbelt then get killed by not wearing one. i go on percentages.

 

I totally agree. But I like to take my chances, because the way my luck is, the sealbelt will hurt me more than help me. I'm always in that 1% of people that AREN'T as lucky as the other 99%.

If you die from not wearing a seatbelt, you get a Darwin award for stupidity. I would think that if a crash was bad enough to kill you with a seatbelt on, I doubt you would have survived without it.

Anyone in the car with me is wearing a seatbelt. Just remember that anything(body) is a projectile when not strapped in. So you could be driving with a belt on and be killed because your passenger smashed into you.

 

I sure as hell buckle up every fucking time. If I knew all of the people that I have who died in car wrecks and didn't buckle up, I would deserve to die.

 

i always buckle up.. except for the very rare occassion i am only driving a few blocks or reparking my car or something

I've done some pretty crazy shit, and been in the car with some pretty crazy drivers. The only times I have been in accidents is when I wear my seatbelt. I have never been in an accident with my seatbelt off. I think I am safer without it.

I would say that I do 90% of the time. If I'm on some back dirt road going 25 mph, I don't, but any other time most definitely.

I disagree with that the law that you are forced to wear one though. There are plenty of states that don't require a helmet while on a motorcycle, yet require you to wear a seat belt. That makes absolutely no sense to me.

 

Yes, I wear a seat belt. I've been thrown through a windshield before and it wasn't a nice experience. I was laying in the emergency room about to bleed to death and the doctor who sewed my face back together lectured me about seat belts.

Its now habit....after being in a few accidents with other folks driving...and a few by me...I buckle like a motherfuckle...
