Well, we're back, we've all had a good night's sleep in a proper bed, and we're all a lot less smelly (except maybe Kat, I don't think it's time for her annual shower yet). Everyone talks about those Glastonbury moments, and despite the mud and the rain, it was still an amazing festival. So what were the Glastonbury moments for you? What made the festival really special?

Here are mine in no particular order (except maybe the last [and by no means least] one)

Brian Wilson playing 'God Only Knows'

    Levellers!

Showmet getting pilled up and doing what can only be described as slanting.

All the amazing randomers we met, especially on Wednesday night.

    I'M SPARTICUS! SHE'S FARTICUS! HE'S SNORICUS!

Wandering around with John and Ned (aka Merry and Pippin) It's great to meet people who take the piss out of Pedeatrician Kat as much as I do! I don't think I've laughed so much in my life, except maybe when:

Jonny set his beard on fire!

He wasn't actually that great, he was emotionless, stiff as a board and couldn't play his instrument. But he still had a fine voice, and his band more than made up for his fall from grace. In fact, his band were probably a lot better than him, but I'm glad he was there, it made them more than just a superb Beach Boys cover band....

You do relise he had a MASSIVE breakdown and spent 5 years of his life in isolation and recluse in his bedroom...He finds it extremely hard to play in front of an audience now. Why do you think it took him so long to do 'Smile'?

Yes I do. Ironic title I thought, since he didn't manage to actually smile through the whole set:p I shouldn't put him down too much though, it was amazing to see him and his band....

Jonny setting fire to his beard is pretty high up there I'd say.
Meeting Casanova/the new Dr Who was awesome too...I acted like such a dumbstruck OTT fan, but it was worth it.
Seeing a lot of bands that I hadn't heard much/any of before, like John Butler Trio and G Love and Special Sauce.
Dancing on the floor to Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club (thanks to Ned and John)
Meeting Ned and John and hearing all those Irish words I love again.
    Finally meeting Kier!
    Coldplay...what else can I say?
Watching Ali fall in the mud twice while trying to dance and walk at the same time to Fatboy Slim.
4pm Saturday, when we all held hands for Make Poverty History, and the legend that is Sir Bob Geldolf spoke.
Hearing Brian Wilson live, Van Morrison singing Brown Eyed Girl, and seeing Teenage Kicks live.

The whole weekend was amazing though...thanks guys!

FOR THE ATTENTION OF KIER AND CLAIRE...
I don't suppose either of you guys picked up a bag with some sandals in when you left the camp?? In our mad rush to get to the coach (we woke up so late!), I left my precious sandals which I've had for nearly 5 years. I tried to ring you guys but I couldn't get through dammit!
Last year I lost my beloved orange scarf, this year my lovely sandals.

I left my beautiful flag too :(

I have some photos of glastonbury but they all seem to be of the flood which really gives a unfair picture of what I would say was a very sunny glastonbury.

hi points for me well seeing you all again and our irish friends (if we forget what irish imperialism did to wales for several thousand years )

discussing yun yo or yun ye the internet man of mystery that could be chinese or could be something else entirely

Ultsearch (he has been known to go under the alias Yun Ye) is an icon. He’s a legend in his own right—yet he’s also a vague apparition whom no one really knows about. His concept is simple: Pillage and plunder the net, one site at a time. And so far, it’s working…to the tune of six-figures….per day.

    http://www.explodeyourtraffic.com/?hop=kewlernet
    explains something about him
    http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-50377.html
he sells some names makes 162 million dollars

http://domaine.blogspot.com/2004/10/infamous-names-in-domain-business.html big names including someone who may be chinese or something else entirely

i enjoyed steve earle and wandering around the site with claire seeing little bands and generally hanging out in the green fields.

the thunder storm was good too
