OHHHHHH i feel so bad. My baby boy fell of the bed today, head first onto the floor and cut his lip, its all fat and swollen and he just looks so vulnerable, brings it home how much he needs his mum.( i wasnt watching him when it happened, person who was was mortified, still had to have words about NOT leaving him, even for a second, ) he cried for so long, arnica and a little infant paracetamol calmed him down after a while but i cant sleep, i just keep going in to check on him and he looks so small again all of a sudden. ARG, i love it and hate it when i get all gooey like this, its just like, total devotion, i want to bundle him up in my arms and curl up with him.

You know, its this time of night i get to thinking about his first 8 months, there are so many things ill do differently if we have another child, like get help to b/f so i dont give up. really regret that, for all the trouble i had i wish i'd stuck with it, would have been so worth it.

I know how you feel. Poor little Virginia gets more bumps and cuts than Maddie ever did. Just a few weeks ago she fell out of a chair and busted her lip. She had blood everywhere and I just KNEW she knocked her front teeth out. Thank god theya re fine, but it scared me to death! And once, I dropped a steak knife on her head. It didn't leave a scratch but I cried and cried. Oh, and Monday she got her first bee sting. And two weeks ago she ran into a glass table top and gave herself a black eye! Kids are made to be pretty resilient, and you can't protect them every second. It's scary, but they'll be okay.

I think that has happened to every one of my babies at some point.

Bumps happen~ I know how hard it is as a mom to see those bumps though!

Im totally in love with my babies too.... they are just so sweet!
