Maria Callas. Horribly overrated singer. At least she's dead now. Not too sure about Joanna McGregor as a pianist either.
I never said I was happy. In fact it makes it worse because when people die they tend to get rated even more highly. And it's not as if she died tragically young either, or in a particularly nasty way. I'm also really glad Mozart's dead by the way
PRIMUS, WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!! I HAVE EVERY PRIMUS ALBUM, HOW CAN SOMONE SAY THEY ARE BAD MUSICIANS. HAVE THEY HEARD LES???? HAVE THEY HEARD BOTH BRAINS AND TIMS CRAZY LONG DRUM SOLOS, OR LERS UNIQUE STLYE OF GUITAR. whatever, those people are lame, lame i tell you
You got that right! Also, I listened to a Radiohead show and except for Creep, they seemed pretty sucky, but I wouldn't call them "bad".
Yeah i understand the most part of your list... it's justified but i disagree too for some of them... And are you serious when you put ... -...the DOORS in your list !!! - and IRON BUTTERFLY are real great psychedelic land wanderer ! - I'm not a fan of WHITESNAKE...but don't forget that WHITESNAKE include 2 different Era of the band ...from 77 to 83 quite good old rock and not so wasp... then the more commercial hard rock cliché that sadly more people know with a lot of new younger member from 84 to 91...(or maybe you like better blacksnakes - I don't know well BLIND MELON exept a few good songs...and i respect good modern hippie musicians It's all... there's a few other that i disagree but i can understand u if i make some effort: As BOB GELDOF...he was in a good punk band in the late 70s early 80's but the solo albums are not so good, MICK JAGGER has a great band but in solo is not so good. And ARRESTED DEVELOPPMENT are one of the best rap band of the 90's... but i'm not fan of rap in general... But i Want to embrace u for all the others artist you wrote...Include One kiss for Japan another for Asia... a big kiss for Tin Machine and the horrible ELP diserve another one of those Steven Tyler 70's big big kiss
2. Emerson, Lake and Palmer 13. Mick Jagger 14. Yngwie Malmsteen 21. The Alan Parsons Project 22. Primus 37. The Doors 42. Rick Wakeman They definitely shouldn't be on the list. It seems clear to me that Blender Magazine is out to piss some people off, or it just doesn't have a clue. I think it's both.
