:) nice. I'm not wearing any shoes to work at the moment at all. Wore them on monday but only because we had to dress up and look smart for the demo with the BBC. No-one seems to mind that I don't wear shoes at work. What it means is that I can go through the whole week without wearing any shoes at all :)

So what are you going to do wiht your weekend?

Both me and my wife are taking a trip back to the northern central part of Ohio this weekend to visit a popular amusement park that we've both grown up with. I'm planning to take only a pair of flip flops in case I need shoes when boarding our flight and enjoying the rides once we get there. Otherwise, it's barefeet!!

I haven't worn any shoes at all since monday! Going up to northampton tonight to play with a bigband again. Then it's beer and curry. Will see how far I can go before I put my shoes on (if I do at all).

Luckies.... Im a dog groomer so I am required to wear shoes... and khaki pants....and a bra......thats my stinky work place....my feet would be bloody, cut up messes if I didn't wear shoes to work. What do you guys do for work where you can be barefoot?
I guess if I had my own shop things could be different.

Well I work in an office mainly. Although I get to play with dangerous sharp tools and little bits and pieces that I end up treading on. No-one minds though as long as we aren't putting on a show for clients, in which case everyone is required to look smart. But that doesn't happen very often. We had a big one for BBC people on monday, and since that finished I've not worn anything on my feet at all. Until a couple of weeks ago I was putting shoes on upon turning up and taking them off when leaving work but the hot weather we had here recently rather forced my hand and so I decided to bite the bullet and see what happened. No-one said a word so that was all sorted then.

YOu will not be asked to put your shoes on to board your flight or even at the amusement park. At the airport, they ask you to remove your shoes. So why would they be bothered if you just happened to keep them off? :D

And as far as amusement parks, just watch where you are going. They won't say anything to you. BTW, are you going to Cedar Point? :D I plan on taking Sax_Machine there next summer...Tell us all about your trip!

I work at a dry-cleaning shop. my manager insists that I always wear shoes while I deal with customers. But if I am in the back of the shop tagging in clothing, I'm barefooted. And actually, I haven't worn shoes at all in close to two weeks. By the time she sees that I'm barefooted while dealing with customers, it's too late to say anything. Not to mention, the customers like it. They seem to think I'm just a bit peculiar and fun, especially with a southern accent to match my bare feet. It makes for good conversation.
