how not? All Mountain Gorillas are black to brown (unless they're albino), all squirral monkeys are tan-ish, all african elephants are gray... Why can we have red, brown, black, blackish-brown, blonde, dirty blonde, white, whitish-blonde, and what not for a haircolor? If we all came from the same species it is expected that we'd have at most 4 different colors in one race, no?
Everyone did not evolve in the same enviroment. Evolution is not a linear thing, it branches out, thus different races, hair colors, etc..
You ever look at birds? Exotic birds? Here birdy birdy!! You might need to consider that God made the natural world with a certain order to it. You know- following certain guidelines. Makes for an interesting perspective. The evolutionary perspective that blind forces mold nature isn't entirely correct if it does not acknowledge God. But to ignore the natural world that God set up would be to ignore the old system of the law that is a gift as well: Matthew 13:52 He said to them, "Therefore every teacher of the law who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old."
Yes, but evolution states we came from an ape-man... And I don't see any 'other' apes with such a veriety of colors...why not?
What advantage does curly hair in certain environments, have over straight or wavy hair? Germany and Vermont are extremely alike, in climate, vegetation, landscape, and whatnot. But the people had totally different hair colors, even skin colors in these two places.
Wow. You think people move from country to country? What if people in the USA are from many different backgrounds? That would be wild.... Curly hair looks hot in certain environments...
Evolution, genetics actually, doesn't necessarily mean that its best to have a certain trait, like hair color, it means that perhaps a group of people, say the ones in africa, interbred with each other because they are in the same location and thus have similar hair....same with Ireland, Sweden, etc. Pay attention in school please, you are severely lacking here. You might want to study a little history that isn't the bible too, Vermont was settled roughly 200 years ago by white people, white people have been living in Germany for thousands of years.
That has to v do with isolation and genetics too. You are far too ignorant about science to argue with.
So you're talking about the Indians crossing the iced bridge from Asia to America, or something? "you are far to ignorant about science to argue with" oooh...Mr. I-know-everything sure made me upset.
ummm...ever heard of indians? They look different from white people... but some indian nations look much like their tibetan & mongolian distant kin... "if evolution is true"... "evolution by means of natural selection" is pretty much "true"... the changes tend to be gradual, and genetic drift generally takes place over hundreds of generations - which is pretty slow to notice on mere historical scales... (the "bottleneck effect" which accentuates gen.drift requires small initial population numbers & physical isolation from potential outbreeding stock... for humans this requires several thousands of years (--- > ~8,000 years ago the kurgans were sweeping across the steppes of eurasia & causing mass human migrations - & this was long before patriarch abraham's covenant, & before ur of chaldea was even a dream in "the land between the rivers" (mesopotamia = modern iraq)); & this still 12,000 years since the last glaciation, & the waves of immigrants from mother africa radiating out into asia (& eventually the americas & australia & pacifica) to the east, & europe (via the caucasus mountains) to the north & west... a long time ago for us folk, but still a blink of the eye compared to the 4.5 billion years of life, or the 5-6 billion years since earth formed & sun lit, or the 20 billion years since the first "fiat lux" was uttered by the Old One (as einstein called Him... ) tata
dominant and recessive genes. yep. By the way, maybe certain species of apes and such aren't different colors...but the different species do look different/ but there are different species, just as there are different races of human... see? Or different colors of dogs, different breeds... and some are mixed, just as some people have mixed ethnic backgrounds. Races of human, is basically the same idea ... just because one dog is a german shepard and another is a chocolate lab, does that mean that one is not a dog? I still dont understand why anyone who doesnt *think* the way an atheist does, would come on here and try to understand us, because they wont unless its something they have inside them and believe. I could ask you a million questions about your religion as well, but I wont even try to because I wont agree with it, just as you wont agree with us.
Thanks guys, I didn't have the patience to explain all of this as thouroughly as you did. Aslo, the FACT, that these genetic and evolutionary trends exist does not make it impossible that there is a god, even along the lines of what Christians believe.
Thank you for pointing that out... My mom is a catholic but believes in evolution Not every single person is going to believe every single thing that their religion says is "truth", unless you're extremely influential and easy to brain wash. I also know people that believe in "certain extents" of evolution but not the entire theory which is possible too.
