Does anyone know what day/date Queensday falls on in 2006.? Is it the same every year or does it tend to fall on the nearest weekend. I've been to the dam before and knew when I was there I would return again and thought it might be good for me and my mate to go then. So could anyone let me know of the exact date as I would like to start looking into flight schedules. Also how long does the party go on for or is it all over in a day.?
Its always on April 30th, except for when its sunday, which is the case next year. So next time Queensday will be on saturday April 29th.
thanks. we just have to now work out whether to go the week preceding it or to stay a week after. By the sounds of it, it all finishes in a day which is a shame. time to start booking, oh yeh, Amsterdam, lock up your daughters here we come.
I intend going half a week before and leaving half a week after.... I also intend to smoke weed until I end up on the ceiling!!!
