Ok i'm keeping this basic, whose seen the movie and what are your feelings about it? I think it's great the whole way through, but i do perfer the first half of the movie.
I saw it, thought it was good, but my favorite part was the first half when Joy Division was still involved.

awesome movie it was funny when shaun and his borther killed like 2000 birds the happy mondays and joy division are two awesome bands
I thoughly enjoyed the film but liked the Joy Division section better as this was more atuned to my Youth.
I like the dude who just dances on stage, fuck I forget his name, but to those who've seen it hopefully will know who I'm speaking of.

I enjoyed the film, I have no interest in the scene it was based on though. Steve Coogan is one fine actor.
I like Tony and Ian's conversation on David Bowie,. Ian-I sound like Bowie. TOny-good you like Bowie. Ian-I hate fucking Bowie. In All the Young Dudes he sings about how you should die when you're 25, do you know how old he is? He's 30,29 or soemthing, he's a fucking liar. Tony-alot of great artists produce thier finest work when they are older, like WB yeats. IF he would have died when he was 25... Ian-I woulda heard of him!
One problem i had with the movie was that New Order were sorta ignored, and they were probably the biggest band on both sides of the Atlantic.
