Genital warts is a big deal. I don't know the answer to your questions, but my advice to you is on matters of health, like STD's, etc., get professional medical opinions from real doctors and don't take for certain anything anyone else tells you. No offense to the "experts", but why take chances. Or at least get information from medical source websites. Not an opinion forum.

I wasnt so concerned that I thought I should go see a doctor... its not like I have symptoms or anything... so I just thought ppl on here might know something about this..

but yeah, i know what u mean, if I was really worried, I definitely would go to a doctor

I mean ask a doctor. Like call your doctor's office. You don't have to go see one to ask questions. You'll probably talk to a nurse, but that ought to get you what you need. Wife's an RN, and she said she didn't think genital warts and plantar's warts come from the same virus, but wasn't 100% sure. Sorry couldn't help more.

No. A different form of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) causes warts to develop on the genitals, anus, and in the mouth.
