or concerta or the other lower (than aderall) level add medicines? would they generally jsut make one who hasnt got add have more concentration, or what? like what are the actual effects for smoeoe just takin them i dont expect it to be a 'recreational high' so just the effects plain and simple thanks
Ritalin will give you a recreational high. Its similar to adderall, a stimulant. Increased concentartion, feeling of well being, increase in sociability, increase in energy. Insomina problly. Dont take close to bed time. But if you do have ADD it will probably just help you concentrate.
i dont see how that works. that would sugest a person with add is on a constant stumulant-comedown? im pretty sureive got mild ADD, but it just a matter of my attention span/priority?
I took it when the doctor though I had ADD but now it turns out i have something else. Anyways When I took the prescribed amout (18 mgs) I felt literally nothing, except for a slightly decreased apetite. So I just took two one day to see if i just needed more and I felt great, hyper yet attentive. No desire to eat and my mind was going full speed. But it was short lived, the crash was shitty. I was very irritable and felt dirty on the inside. I wanted to sleep but couldn't. So yeah you can get high off of concerta, you just have to take enough. I took 36 mgs and had an overall good day.
methylphenidate is a stimulant medication, very similar in action to Adderall. It increases attention by increasing norephinepherine in your brain, and activating regions of your brain.
thanks photo but i can find objective information anywhere. subjective is all im concerned about. i dont mind doing schoolwork sometiems but i just need to be in with it. usually i get distracted reading things that interest me, as opposed to what i need for the course. are prescription meds what i want or should i just tweak all day long?
It will increase the attention span of anyone who takes it, regardless of whether or not they have ADHD.
People who are "hyperactive" actually have UNDERSTIMULATED brains. The stimulant stmulates parts of the brain which the person was having trouble with (this is a similar phenomenon as when little children get "overtired" and get hyper, not because they are too awake, but because they are trying to concentrate beyond what they brain is allowing.) The stimulation then QUIETS the body, as the mind is internally stimulated properly. At least this is the way I learned it. And, for some people, it does work this way.
I was prescribed Ritalin for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) when I was younger. It seemed to help me concentrate, because I was forever daydreaming and not paying attention. But, I was also said to be gifted and enrolled in the "gifted" (*aka* advanced) classes at school and acing them, so whether or not my so-called inability to concentrate in "regular" courses was more of a boredom issue and the Ritalin had more of a placebo affect, in other words mind over matter, I don't know.
my friend alura and I tok concerta.. it was like a Woo woo concentrated thing.. it was kinda bleh.. aha.. it was b 4 science for me...and in science i had i think 14 tasks going when usualy i only have 1 going but i knew what i was doing in everyone of my tasks.. it was cool
i have add. i love taking that shit. i get so high and happy. i have a presp for it. and ull actualy like doing schoolwork for once.
It's like an amphetamine. It will last for like an hour and it just makes you feel very peppy and happy and "go go go". When I'm on it i feel like being productive and i also feel confident. One of my best friends does like 20 a day... she's got ADD and is perscribed to 3 a day, but also buys them off everyone she knows for all the money she's got. It's a fun drug.
