Thank you, Thy Will Be Done.

That's my prayer, to whatever good spiritual energy is out there, Chichelh Siy'am, Ahura Mazda, Terra, Pan, Allah, YHWH, God, etc.

I pray because I have seen results in others, as well as experiencing them myself. I have been a witness to (both on a personal level, and watching from the sidelines), that which defies what I have learned in the Psychology field, as well as Medicine. I am not the type of individual who chases after rainbows or wishes on four leaf clovers, but I have been both a spectator and a beneficiary of miracles.

There is no greater intimacy with the Lord than prayer.

"it's always nice to have someone to talk to" ....and if you talk to god instead of yourself, they won't call you crazy :p

I sorta pray, not real prayers, or to anything or anyone, but like Duck said, sort of hope for luck and good effects.

it was a joke. You know, like when you see someone talking to themselves, you go "man, that dude's crazy" but then he goes "no, I'm praying" and then you're like, "ooooh, ok then, my mistake." It was just me trying to be humorous. I have clearly failed...

Because that's how you communicate with the Lord, and get closer to him.

I know he'll listen to anything I say. And if I ask for guidance, help, etc...he'll give it to me.

Every thought is a prayer, really. I guess that the actual act of praying is just the focusing of good energy for a certain period of time for certain things and certain people.

I asked someone "How do you do everything at once?"

They said "It's easy, I just don't try."

yeah... the same here, don't know if i'd call it praying so much as 'talking to nothing.'

i do it a lot. generally when i know there's no one around to think i'm off my rocker. :D

after all, you DO always have someone to talk to: yourself!

Think of prayer as a manifesting and guiding of personal power and energy, a manifesting that may connect with the Intelligence out there and result in real consequences.....and then yes, I do that quite a bit.....
