ok my grandma is on oc its a small pink pill, im not sure mg. she has lung cancer and is getting radiaton and kemo and they put her on it for pain, but she sais she itches like a motherfucker and shes scratchng so much shee bleeding all over her arms, head, legs, hands every were. so if some one could tell me can oc make people itch? THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT PLEASE HELP!?!?!
Yes! OC will make you itch. She can try taking an antihistamine, such as Claritin. It will help some with the itching. If she is itching with hives or trouble breathing, it may be an allergic reaction, and she should consult her doctor or other medical care very promptly.
i did her doctor is one stupid mother fcuked he said thats imposible it canot cause that type of reaction. so we took em away and gave he vicoden for today and were gonna try to fid a substitute, i say mj all the way becasue they are saying she needs to eat and she is saing she doesnt have an appitite, but in florida madicinal mj is illegal i believe, so its not like the doctor could precribe it, but well c. thanks for the help is there any thing more or just as strong as oc with out the itch?
medicinal MJ is illegal here in NY as well but my neighbor who has an inoperable brain tumor, MS, and a few other health problems has a 'script. so it's possible. I don't know how, but it is.
well its inoperable the doctors decieded cause her life function would be greatly reduced to the point were she would be better off with cancer or dead, so thats why theyr doing kemo and radiation. but its 8mm large in the lung(not sure wich one) so its fairly small and not life threating, so i doubt they will give it to her and she wont let me give it to her becasue "god knows what it is now adays back when i was young there was one pot and that was it not all this garbage they have today", so prescription is the only way shell use it.
medicinal marijuana is illegal across the board in the US i thought... the act jus passed recently... if medicinal marijuana WAS gonna happen wouldnt they use Marinol(sp)??? i mean com'on, its such an exuse to smoke weed its not funny, you damn hippies. if it was actually medically effective (which it is) it would be synthesized and put in a pill (marinol).... smoking is bad for your lungs why would you want her to smoke?!?!?! they are now working on tintures to be put in spray bottles and possibly sprayed under the tongue... medicinal mj...
