I tore out my hair Scratched at my face Covered myself in plaster Waiting This is no cocoon I am no butterfly This is no cinderella story I am ordinary This is about redemption You found me buried in time I cracked through the casing choking You put air in my lungs You pumped the blood back I saw eternity In specks of brown and hazel Eyes I may still wear bandages I may bleed from time to time But you clean me up And protect me May I keep you forever? Yea, it's about my boyfriend.. im lame..
I didn't think it was lame. I liked it a lot, and I thought it shows a lot of talent. Whenever a poem has a lot of passion in it, it gathers weight as a poem as opposed to just being words on a page. In expressing your honest feelings, you've created something worth keeping. Keep writing.
i liked it i like poems that are about loved ones you should keep writing and by the way did anyone read my poem (pitch black) thank you GABRIELLE
