...stunning "its quite emotional standing up here with these three guys after all these years" -Roger Waters David Gilmore hasn't seemed to lose his voice at all, an amazing performance i must say... thanks for the link!!!
that clip totally kicked ass, thank you for posting it. I worked all day, and I couldnt watch mtv's broadcast. good thing though, because I heard they cut away during the final guitar solo. this clip has the whole performance uninterrupted. awesome. yeah they were sloppy at first, during breathe..... but comfortably numb redeemed the whole thing. I had goosebumps. literally. I noticed that rick wright was in the shadows like normal... you hardly ever get to see him.... even tim renwick had more airtime than poor ole rick.... didnt get to see a closeup of rick until the very end, when they bowed..... anyways, looked like ole rog was having some fun.
simply fuckin brilliant !! i saw roger waters live a coupla years back, but seein the group together is absolutely marvy ..makes you feel 'comfortably numb' ...."how i wish ..how i wish i were there"
I had to stay late at work so that I wouldn't miss any of the performance (I work at a TV station so I was watching all day.) They only aired Speak To Me/Breate In The Air, and Money though. I've never seen them in person, except for the old photos in their albums. So is Gilmour the one who sings those songs? The fat guy with the white hair? Cause the other guy was playing the bass, so I assumed that was Roger Waters. I'm confused. Not that it matters, I was fucking pumped for them all day. If they had come to Barrie, I would have skipped work to be there for sure.
